01

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Katiayini website and any related enquiry, appointment, consultation or other interaction initiated through it. By accessing or using the website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the website. If you use the website on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

02

About Katiayini

The website is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], trading as “Katiayini”, with its business address at [REGISTERED / BUSINESS ADDRESS] (“Katiayini”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Katiayini presents handcrafted jewellery, silver artefacts, gifting pieces and bespoke possibilities. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the website is primarily a catalogue and enquiry experience; submitting an enquiry does not itself create an order or require us to accept one.

03

Permitted website use

You may use this website only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • misuse the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with its security or operation;
  • scrape, reproduce, republish or commercially exploit website content without our prior written permission;
  • submit false, misleading, unlawful or infringing material through any form or communication channel;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, authority or intention; or
  • use the website in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your device and communications secure.

04

Enquiries, consultations and orders

An enquiry, appointment request, WhatsApp message, email, quotation request or other communication is an invitation to discuss availability and requirements. It is not an acceptance of an order.

An order becomes binding only when we expressly accept it in writing and, where applicable, receive the required advance or full payment. We may decline or cancel an enquiry or proposed order before acceptance, including where a piece is unavailable, information is incomplete, pricing contains an error, a request cannot be fulfilled, or we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful activity.

Your written quotation, invoice or order confirmation may contain product-specific terms. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the product-specific terms will apply to that order to the extent permitted by law.

05

Product information and imagery

We take reasonable care to describe and present our pieces accurately. However, colours, scale, finish and texture may appear differently across screens and lighting conditions. Measurements and weights may be approximate unless confirmed in writing.

Handcrafted and natural-material pieces may show minor variations in motif, stone, patina, texture, dimensions or finish. These characteristics are part of their individual nature and do not necessarily indicate a defect. Availability, specifications and presentation may change without notice.

Care instructions, hallmarking or purity information, included accessories, and any product warranty will be those expressly supplied with the piece or stated in the applicable order documents.

06

Bespoke and personalised pieces

Bespoke, made-to-order, engraved, altered or otherwise personalised pieces are subject to design approval, technical feasibility, material availability, production timelines and any additional terms stated in the quotation or order confirmation.

Once production begins, changes or cancellation may not be possible. Any permitted change may affect price and timing. Customer-supplied references are used only to understand preferences; we will not knowingly reproduce another party’s protected design, mark or artwork without permission.

07

Pricing, taxes and payment

Prices displayed or discussed are subject to confirmation and may change due to material prices, taxes, customisation, availability or other relevant factors. The final price, applicable taxes, payment schedule and accepted payment method will be stated in the quotation, invoice or order confirmation.

You must use a payment method that you are authorised to use. Payments may be processed by third-party providers subject to their terms. We do not ask you to share a card PIN, one-time password or online-banking password with us.

08

Delivery, inspection, cancellation and returns

Estimated delivery or collection dates are provided in good faith but may be affected by production, customisation, logistics, force majeure or events outside our reasonable control. Risk, title, delivery charges and insurance arrangements will be as stated in your order documents and as required by applicable law.

Please inspect a piece promptly after receipt and notify us within the period stated in the applicable returns or order terms if it is damaged, defective or not what was confirmed. Eligibility for cancellation, exchange, return or refund depends on applicable law, the type and condition of the piece, and the written policy supplied for the order. Personalised and bespoke pieces may be subject to lawful restrictions.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

09

Intellectual property

The website and its text, photographs, video, graphics, product designs, logos, trade names, layout and other content are owned by or licensed to Katiayini and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to view the website for personal use. No ownership right is transferred to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or use our content for commercial or training purposes without prior written permission.

10

Third-party links and services

The website may link to Instagram, WhatsApp, maps, payment services, couriers or other third-party platforms. Those services are independently operated and may apply their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not imply that we control or guarantee the third party, and you use those services at your discretion.

11

Website availability and disclaimers

We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website for maintenance, security, business or other reasons.

General editorial or care information on the website is provided for convenience and is not professional, valuation, investment or authentication advice. You should rely on the written documents supplied for a specific piece or transaction.

12

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from your use of, or inability to use, the website. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any non-excludable consumer right.

13

Your responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses, claims or costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, your infringement of another person’s rights, or materially false information that you knowingly submit. This provision does not make you responsible for losses caused by us.

14

Privacy and electronic communication

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. When you choose WhatsApp, phone or email as a preferred contact method, you authorise us to respond through that channel in relation to your enquiry. Marketing messages, where used, will be handled according to applicable law and the choices offered to you.

15

Changes, severability and governing law

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the website, our services or applicable requirements. The effective date at the top shows when this version took effect. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply from that point.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or right that applies, courts with jurisdiction in Hyderabad, Telangana will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
